Today we continue our study of the Civil Law given to Israel by God, moving from chapter 21 to chapter 22. We'll talk about laws regarding the discover of a thief in one's house. We'll ask if all these laws indicate that God is angry. We'll contrast our system of incarceration with God's system of restitution. We'll even talk about God's rules regarding burning trash ... getting into other often cluttered areas like Facebook, Twitter, TV ... and the dangers of the tongue. What does God think about loopholes? What does God say about idols, sorcery and sexual impurity?
