Join pastor shawn and the gang at Calvary Chapel Birmingham as they study the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter. Today we continue our study in the book of Exodus with chapter 24, as Israel ratifies their conditional covenant with God under the law. We will review our study of the ten commandments, the civil law and Israel's choice to live by the law. We'll look into current trends of defining bad as good and good as bad as well as self deception. There is a mirror we can all look into that not only shows us what is wrong but corrects us, too. We'll compare sin and leprosy ... there is an incredible picture of law vs grace to be found there. We'll talk about the blood of Christ and it's application. Here's a good question, has anyone seen God face to face? We'll talk about what happened on Mt Sinai. All that and more as we explore God's Word today verse by verse. Let's dig in.
