Join pastor shawn and the gang at Calvary Chapel Birmingham as
they study the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter. Today
we continue our study in the book of Acts by completing chapter 15
and continuing into chapter 16. This message is important
because you will gain an understanding of (1) How grace and works
operate in the life of the believer, (2) the role of faith in the
sacrificial system of the Old Testament, (3) how to be a better
witness of Christ, (4) how to avoid a “works” mentality, (5) our
empowerment by grace, and in chapter 16, we’ll learn about (6)
faith in the midst of trials, (7) how we can remain solid in the
faith, (7) the importance of instilling God’s Word in our children,
(8) how our perseverance teaches our children perseverance, (9) and
encouragement, counsel and realistic steps to take in order to be a
good witness of Christ to a non-believing children, friends,
siblings or spouse.
