Today we begin our study of Mark chapter 11 with the Triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and His strange reaction to a fig tree that bore no fruit. We will cover such important ideas as Shalom (peace) and where it can be found, what does the Bible mean when it talks about the "heart" and the word picture we find within the Hebrew word for heart, the simplicity of the gospel, the Eastern gate of Jerusalem in prophecy, God's miraculous hand in our lives, obedience, leaves, fruit and false advertising.
