Join pastor shawn and the gang at Calvary Chapel Birmingham as they study the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter. Today we continue our study through the Gospel of John with chapter 15 as Jesus reveals great things to His disciples regarding the believer's relationship with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, the believer's relationship with other believers, and the believer's relationship with the world. We will look at the I AM statements of Jesus and their significance in regards to His diety as well as their significance to our lives. We'll talk about the Menorah of the Tabernacle and the Temple and what it has to do with the believer's abiding in the Vine. We'll touch on eternal security and what Jesus says about the removal of branches from the Vine. Finally, we'll also talk about fruit in the believer's life ... what it is, what it does, and how it's made.
